IATA & shipping perfumes by air
Most perfumes contain alcohol and are therefore potentially flammable, they are classified as Dangerous Goods and follow very strict regulations from IATA (International Air Transport Association). Specific packing, labelling and documentation is required for sending perfumes by air. Fortunately, the team of Perfume Lounge is trained and certified to ship perfumes worldwide to over 60 countries. The surcharges for IATA regulatory shipments are calculated in the shipping price.
Customs and duties
Customs and import duties for shipments outside of the European Union are excluded. They will be charged in your country to the receiver.
Please note that all prices are including European taxes. These taxes can only be (partially) refunded when you actually buy the products in person in our boutique in Amsterdam and can show the authorities that the goods have left the European Union. We cooperate with Global Blue to ensure a reliable and smooth organization of VAT refunds.
Returns policy
If, for whatever reason, an ordered item is not entirely to your liking, it is possible to return it in the original undamaged packaging within 14 calendar days after delivery. It is important that the product is not used and (if initially present) the cellophane or seal is not broken.
With every order, we give our customers the options to choose free perfume samples from our collection. We always recommend selecting a sample of the perfume that is already in your shopping cart. This way, you can try the fragrance before opening the packaging to ensure that you can still return the perfume if needed.

Countries we do not ship to
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to the following countries at this moment. In some instances, it is because of strict border regulations for Dangerous Goods. In other occasions it is because FedEx does not have a local office for dangerous goods in your country. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
