Picture a family that's been immersed in perfumery for nearly a century, deciding in 2013 to return to its roots — that's LabSolue, founded by sisters Giorgia and Ambra Martone in Milan, with origins tracing back to the historic Marvin house (1940s) and ICR Industrie Cosmetiche Riunite. The name says it all: a fusion of Laboratory and Absolute, craftsmanship and nature's purest essences. At LabSolue, everything revolves around the tree in its entirety, from root to leaf, resulting in an olfactory library of 68 essences across four families (Fruits and Aromatics, Flowers, Woods, Resins), created by celebrated noses and handcrafted, filled, and labeled in their own laboratories in Milan and Rome — in short, a journey through three generations of craftsmanship, nature, and pure Italian refinement.
The story of LabSolue begins in 1940s Milan, where Vincenzo Martone founded Marvin, a pharmaceutical and cosmetic house. His son Roberto carried the legacy forward, transforming the business from the 1970s onward into ICR Industrie Cosmetiche Riunite, today a globally respected name in luxury perfume production.
The third generation, sisters Giorgia and Ambra Martone, grew up immersed in this passion for fragrance. While rediscovering old family formulas and digging through the family archives, Giorgia fell in love with the brand's history and its original vintage packaging. That fascination, combined with Ambra's drive and determination, led to the founding of LabSolue in 2013: a tribute to their roots, reimagined with a fresh, contemporary vision.
