This fragrance brings together one of perfumery’s most cherished woods—rarely featured in solinote form—with the ethereal warmth of a Headspace flame. Like a match struck on the spine of a forgotten book, Cèdre ignites memory and imagination. It evokes the scent of paper and the weight of words, discovered in a tucked-away bookshop as we wander the banks of the Seine, that river “framed by two rows of books,” as Cendrars once wrote. As night settles and the streetlights flicker to life, fine wisps of woodsmoke curl into the air—captured and contained in this bottle.
A refined blend of dry woods unfurls, lifted by the aromatic shimmer of nutmeg and cumin, before giving way to a Headspace of flame: an abstract, crackling accord glowing with amber and vanilla.
At its core, Cèdre is a modern woody fragrance, pared-back and precise, built around two expressions of cedar: the resinous, leathery warmth of Atlas cedar, and the dry, spicy sharpness of Virginia cedar, evoking pencil shavings and clean paper.
