Julien Rasquinet originally studied business, never imagining that perfumery would become his true passion. Everything changed after a chance meeting with legendary perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who saw potential in him and became his mentor despite his lack of a perfume education. Today, Julien splits his time between Paris and Dubai, drawing inspiration from the vibrant scents of the East. He’s the creative force behind standout fragrances for brands like BDK Parfums (including Tabac Rose and Ambre Safrano), Amouage, and Naomi Goodsir. Julien’s work is defined by rich storytelling and innovative ingredients, always pushing beyond trends to craft unique olfactory experiences.
