Orencie, a bright morning. Time stops, just for her, the rose, the white musks, she’s free. A room of her own.
« I created this fragrance with this clean, refined, smiling bubble in mind. The musks envelop us, reminiscent of the clean linen we like to wrap ourselves in. This fragrance is also an opportunity for me to work on a muscrosé ... with great modernity.» Caroline Dumur
CREATOR’S NOTE
« Orencie is a very old French feminine name. It evokes a woman of character—fulfilled, confident, and determined. Orencie is a fragrance dedicated to this accomplished woman who wakes up one morning, free, in this chambre 52. The light is soft, the awakening gentle in white sheets. Familiar gestures: a running bath, a cup of tea, comforting and reassuring scents. This delicate
and joyful moment is a pause—a moment just for her.
Orencie is also inspired by the book A Room of One’s Own by
Virginia Woolf. In this iconic feminist essay, the author explains
that in the early 20th century, a woman needed two things to
thrive and create: 500 shillings a month and a room of her own. »

Musk
Musk: versatile and exciting. Musky perfumes are powdery, creamy and caring, but also sensual, earthy and a little animalic. It is a favorite base note used in all kinds of products, from perfumes to skincare to candles and beyond. Back in the day, actual musk was derived from animal glands. Fortunately musk of animal origin is no longer allowed. The musky scents you smell today is entirely ethical, made up of a combination of beautiful synthetics and natural resources like plants.
