A beautiful gender free tobacco perfume!
Animal Mondain is warm woody fragrance of tobacco absolute, hay, honey, mahogany woods and fruity pear tree leaves by Pierre Guillaume.
This olfactory creation is inspired by the 1930's lifestyle: Art Deco, Hollywood stars such as Greta Garbo and the androgynous Marlene Dietrich; modernism and the modernist architecture of Robert Mallet-Stevens.
Quote Pierre Guillaume:
"Between the spicy ardor of Cozé and the balmy and liquorish opulence of Liqueur Charnelle, Animal Mondain interposes itself as a new Tobacco in my production. The bursts of laughter of a social society happy to feast there splits the tobacco volutes that stretch gently on the leather armchairs and along the pear tree and mahogany woodwork…"
Pear, Tobacco, Mahogany wood
Alcohol, Parfum (fragrance), Aqua (water), coumarin, eugenol, limonene, linalool, farnesol, benzyl salicylate. [8069-B]
In his Collection Noire, perfumer Pierre Guillaume makes use of new techniques by obtaining extracts from plants. The concentrations in these Eau de Parfums are built minimalistic and there aren't any olfactive piramides. This means there are no limits to your own interpretations of the perfumes. The black perfume bottles are a real eye catcher.
More by Pierre Guillaume
Discover the multiple facets of leather in perfumes. Think of the smell of a leather jacket, a pair of suede shoes, the inside of a leather bag, or an old Chesterfield… Leather gives a luxurious, seductive and elegant touch to the fragrance. But it is also dark, robust and slightly animalic which makes this smell mysteriously tantalizing.
When he was just 25 years old, Pierre Guillaume launched his first perfume called Cozé. Chandler Burr, renowned and respected perfume critic, described this fragrance as 'the coolest of new European fragrances from a young French chemist'. That was the beginning of his career and his own perfume house: Parfumerie Générale, which is now called Pierre Guillaume. Pierre Guillaume uses innovative processes to create fragrances. You can recognize his personal style in his perfumes, with high-quality scents that remain perceptible on the skin for a long time without overpowering.
