Discover, learn, smell, blend and create. Create your own warm amber perfume with a personal twist. In this special masterclass, you’ll work under the guidance of perfumer Chester and scent expert Karima to craft your very own amber fragrance.
Amber perfumes are known for their warm, enveloping character: exactly what we long for during the autumn season. That’s why, for our next Masterclass, we’ve chosen Amber as the theme: to deepen your perfume knowledge and give you the opportunity to create your own scent from scratch.
Perfume makers have many ways to achieve an amber effect. From the classic amber accord to the rare ambergris, or the modern Ambroxan. Be inspired by examples of both classic and contemporary amber perfumes, discover intriguing ingredients, and leave with your own self-created, comforting amber scent in a personalized bottle.

What to expect
- An inspiring and educational masterclass by two fragrance experts, in a small group of max. 10 participants.
- Insights and hands-on experience with both classic and modern, natural and synthetic perfume ingredients.
- A hand-out and worksheet including formulation tips.
- A 50 ml bottle of your personally created amber perfume.
No prior theoretical knowledge required, just a fresh nose and an open mind.
Structure of the afternoon
After an inspiring and informative introduction, you’ll discover the background and composition of amber perfumes. Chester and Karima will let you smell an amber fragrance they have created, and together we’ll break down the individual ingredients within it — from sweet, warm resins to spicy notes and surprising synthetics.
In the second part of the workshop, it’s time to create your own! Would you like a softer, sweeter version? Or perhaps a more spicy twist? Maybe you’d like to design a contrasting amber scent with a bold, quirky vibe? Everything is possible. You’ll explore additional ingredients such as musks, vetiver, patchouli and more, to develop your own unique remix.
Once you’re completely happy with the result, we’ll record your unique formula and prepare 50 ml of your personal creation.
You’ll take home your very own amber perfume in a stylish, personalized spray bottle.
