The Old Norse "Askr" means "ash tree," the central theme of this new fragrance. ASKR's essence encompasses a coastal atmosphere with resinous dryness, a unique playground between weather-worn dryness and shimmering waters. The perfume offers a captivating contrast: rough and brackish in first impression, but evolves into soothing driftwood with a lingering inky fluidity, fading into deep ambergris.

Jorum Studio, Scotland's first and most original perfume house, is the creation of Scottish perfumer Euan McCall and his partner Chloe Mullen. This creative duo makes all the fragrances in small batches by hand in their own studio in Edinburgh, resulting in a collection of unique, original, and contemporary perfumes.

Josh Meyer

Josh Meyer enjoys the refined things in life: whiskey, literature, haute cuisine and music. After he discovered the fascinating world of niche perfumes, he taught how to make perfumes himself by spending hours in his laboratory, researching and improving them. Josh works closely with his creative director Ashod Simonian, together they write the storyline before launching a new perfume. Josh's laboratory is located in Portland, Oregon, America.
