With The Essence, it was Francesca Bianchi's idea to create a fragrance that embodies the core essence, or DNA, found in all of her creations. More than a standalone perfume, it was designed as a booster: a versatile layer that amplifies the presence, projection, and aura of other scents.
Use it beneath or over any perfume that feels too soft, too close to the skin, or in need of extra diffusion. The Essence strengthens and expands, enhancing without overpowering, and transforming a familiar fragrance into something more vivid and dimensional.
Its composition carries Francesca’s recognizable animalic nuance, balanced with refined, powdery facets of iris. When worn on its own, it reveals a deliberately pared-back character — simpler and more linear than her main collection, yet still unmistakably hers. Soft, comforting, and quietly magnetic.
An ongoing experiment, The Essence marks the beginning of a concept that may continue to evolve — and perhaps one day find its place as a full catalog release.
