Nutt Wesshasartar is a Thai perfumer who bridges centuries-old tradition with a contemporary niche vision. Coming from a family that has crafted ceremonial Thai scents since 1928, he draws on this heritage while teaching himself the art of modern perfumery. Through his brand SIAM 1928, he translates myths, poetry, and Thai stories into fragrances, often presented in distinctive ceramic bottles that emphasize their narrative character. His work has gained international recognition—most notably when Mekha Aranya won the Art & Olfaction Award in the Artisan category in 2025.
