Join perfumer Chester Gibs and fragrance designer Tanja Deurloo for a special masterclass where you’ll create your very own cologne from scratch under their expert guidance.
Colognes are timeless scents with a rich history. These types of perfumes are a tribute to freshness, simplicity, and elegance—making them the perfect gateway for deepening your fragrance knowledge and starting your own creative journey.
Be inspired by unexpected ingredients, iconic colognes, and centuries-old stories—and leave with a refreshing scent of your own design, bottled in a personalized flacon.

What to expect:
• An inspiring and educational masterclass led by two fragrance experts, in an intimate group of no more than 10 participants.
• Hands-on experience with both classic and modern natural and synthetic perfume ingredients.
• A handout and worksheet, including formulation tips.
• 50 ml of your own personally crafted cologne.
Workshop structure
We’ll begin with an inspiring introduction, where you’ll explore the history and structure of traditional colognes. Chester and Tanja will introduce a cologne they created especially for this session. Next, you’ll break down and smell the individual components—from sparkling citruses to spicy naturals and intriguing synthetics.
In the second part of the workshop, it’s your turn to get creative! Want to craft a softer, more floral version? Or a crisp, citrus-rich cologne with a spicy edge? Maybe you’re aiming for something bold and modern with a quirky twist? Everything is possible. We’ll introduce you to a range of additional ingredients—like musks, vetiver, patchouli, and more—to help you build a scent that’s entirely your own.
Once you’re happy with your final blend, we’ll record your unique formula and prepare a 50 ml bottle of your creation. You’ll head home with your very own fragrance in a stylish, personalized spray bottle.
