This holiday season, Côté Cour and Côté Jardin take the stage alongside the beloved Mon beau Sapin. The 1 2 3 Trio is a set of three scented candles of 75 grams each, festive and refined, inspired by the theatrical splendour of the Grand Siècle, the golden age of the French court and theatre. Together, they bring the magic of the holidays into your home.
The candles are made in France from a blend of mineral and vegetable wax. A braided cotton wick ensures an even burn and a beautiful scent throw. Each candle burns for approximately 24 hours.
Côté Cour
Named after the right side of the stage, Côté Cour takes you behind the curtain. This is where every movement is rehearsed and every transformation takes place. Rice powder, iris and soft violet evoke the ritual of stage makeup: powdery, tender and with a touch of nostalgia.
Côté Jardin
On the left side of the stage, Côté Jardin sets the scene. A trail of softly crushed, fresh-cut herbs, intertwined with the delicacy of roses and the cool freshness of lush green foliage. A tribute to the rich theatre and dance traditions of the Grand Siècle.
Mon beau Sapin
An aromatic portrait of the traditional, almost mythical Christmas tree. Its woody, subtly resinous scent feels like a quiet walk deep in a snowy forest. Warm, familiar and unmistakably festive.
Francis Kurkdjian
Francis Kurkdjian hardly needs any introduction: this famous perfumer already made a name for himself at the age of 26 when he created the international best seller Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male. The following decade, Kurkdjian worked for prestigious brands, including Dior, Elizabeth Arden, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, alongside collaborating with private clients. After working with big brands, Kurkdjian embraced a new opportunity and started his very own brand in 2009: Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Perfume Lounge was at the launch of this beautiful brand in Paris and was proud to introduce his brand to the Netherlands as the very first perfumery. Kurkdjian is versatile and creative. He elegantly combines two cultures of his French-Armenian heritage into fragrances with a natural richness.
