Coveted by pharaohs and kings of antiquity, one of perfumery’s most emblematicand timeless raw materials, olibanum is extracted from the heart of the wild Boswellia shrub, predominatly grown in the Dhofar desert in Oman. It also goes by the name of frankincense, a term that originates from ancient French meaning high-quality incense.
