Lilian Driessen, designer and creative director, designs both interiors and fashion from her studio in Amsterdam. The house MariaL creates anarchic, 'tailored' elegance and raw luxury. MariaL is the abbreviation for Maria Lux. She is the muse of Lilian, her perfect alter ego. Maria as a virgin, mother and lover. Lux stands for light, luxury and lust. The 'L' stands for Lilian. "The fragrances are inspired by love, the most complex, and by far the most important and greatest and compelling emotion of man."  The fragrances were created in collaboration with Alessandro Gualtieri, aka The Nose.
